So here's the deal:

The old Asimovian Empire is dead. DEAD!

But every ending is a beginning.

Thus, please welcome the birth of the New Asimovian Empire. As you can see, there are going to be some changes. We are going to make sure that the story lives on this time and does not stagnate into non-existence as the old one did.

So what's new?

1. Registration is no longer automatic. One has to be approved. To be approved, one has to fill out an application and mail it to the administrators. Applications should be sent to asimovianwars@hotmail.com. Too much you say? Boo hoo. We are admin and we can do as we please.

Seriously, we are doing this in order to make sure that we all get to have fun. Too many storylines have died due to the overabundance of mercenaries, damsels in distress, messiah complex-addled heroes, and such. We figured that it would be best to keep some control over the number of characters of a certain caliber.

If you're absolutely, positively certain that you want a character of the kind that is easily abused, we suggest you give us a roaring good argument and then we might consider it.

Don't worry, the more creative you are, the more chances of approval. We admin are men who have utmost respect for imaginative minds.

2. Everything that one needs to know will be in the library. The library works as it has before - anybody may submit an article, but that article is still subject for approval by the staff. We will stress that you are not allowed to include in your threads a major contraption or a beast that has not been approved in our Asimovipedia.

3. The old storyline has been scrapped. Therefore, you old members should expect to find that your characters have been scrapped. Don't be aghast if you find your dude/dudette in the character graveyard, we might agree to resurrect him/her if you give us a good reason (see item number 1 regarding character application).
